While Heather is a native of Montreal, her move to Atlantic Canada was inevitable. When she fell in love with her husband Derek she soon fell in love with the Island way of life. Her camera did, too, and that’s important, because Heather is a professional photographer. She’s also a highly trained and experienced designer and art director. In fact, Heather fiddles with virtually anything creative – including her fiddle, which clinched the deal, and she, Derek and two of their six children pulled up stakes and moved “home” to the Island.
This multi-talented visual artist’s 20-year career spans Montreal design studios, the corporate world and B2B with Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney Canada, and the wide-ranging challenges of her own creative design and photography business.
Heather’s work earned International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Communicator of the Year Ovation Awards in 2003 and 2004. And every day it wins hearts because she volunteers her services to the SPCA Montérégie south of Montreal.
