Nova Scotia has had a long tradition of winemaking. Vineyards and winemakers have greatly increased the visibility for Nova Scotia wines in the past decade by creating award-winning products and unique visitor experiences. We had to tell that story and position Nova Scotia wines as a world-class product and a premier wine destination.
Client: Wine Association of Nova Scotia (WANS)
Challenge: To design and develop a new website for Wines of Nova Scotia that would entice and engage wine enthusiasts to buy Nova Scotia wines and visit Nova Scotia wineries. It would also serve as a voice for the industry and promote growth in the sector, and in local, export and tourism markets. The website would target Nova Scotia visitors, stakeholders and the media.
Solution: Working closely with our project partners at Versatile Management Group, TechnoMedia developed a website that now positions the Nova Scotia wine region as a tourism destination. The website represents all wineries in Nova Scotia.
We created a modern and friendly website targeting a youthful demographic that is optimized SEO and includes the best content management system in the industry, includes lead generation opportunities and is responsive to provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices including mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.
The website content and imagery have been organized in a way that informs, educates, and engages consumers and visitors and positions Nova Scotia as a premier wine destination.
